1. Medical Stuff:

  • 3 Days of Home Rehab. Loving the new treadmill!
  • I saw my shrink on Monday. Right now, I am seeing him every other week. It’s a good thing.
  • I had an eye appointment on Monday. I haven’t seen my eye doctor in a couple of years so I was due. It turns out I really am getting older and my eyes say so : ) I have to wear my reading glasses, “more than reading glasses now but not all of the time,” and my prescription is now a bit stronger. Sigh.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab…on the brand new, beautiful, FIXED treadmill.
  • I had to take Tuesday off from school. I wasn’t sleeping enough, my heart rate was too high, and I started to notice more blood pooling than usual, which are usually red flags that I need to slow down and rest. Luckily, I slept three hours that afternoon, and did okay getting through the rest of the week.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • No PT this week. All rehab was on my own.
  • 3 days of Home Rehab. So the new treadmill was put together, and then wouldn’t work. After a lot of time on the phone, the company said it was defective and will be shipping another one…So it’s back outside for walking and cardio until the new one arrives.
  • I saw Dr. Rosen on Tuesday for a shrink appointment. Just trying to figure everything out…you know, life things…things like balance, perspective, health.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Lots of scap firing exercises. These help strengthen my upper back and neck to stay out of my neck brace.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Cardio done outside but the exciting news is, my Mom and Dad bought a treadmill last weekend (I usually go over to their house to workout). It just needs to be put together, and I’ll be good to go.
  • I saw Larry for my September appointment. He did OMM, and made sure my body was put together. We realized at this appointment that I had a fever, and likely a sinus infection. I was given an antibiotic.
  • I’ve been really struggling with energy and stamina. I’m hoping that my body continues to adjust to the day to day “grind” and the intense fatigue that I’m feeling will begin to lessen. Fingers crossed…
