Just a "zebra" trying my best to live life to the fullest with EDS and POTS...and loving the ride.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Our treadmill is broken so I took my walking outside. Don’t get me wrong. I love being outside, but I honestly miss the treadmill for my cardio time.
  • No doctor’s appointments.
  • So much fatigue. I made it through the week but my body is definitely adjusting. By Friday, I was wishing for a coffee IV.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 3 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had an OMM appointment on Wednesday, after setting up my classroom om Monday and Tuesday. My Psoas muscles needed to be calmed down, as well as my jaw and neck.
  • I had a hydrogen glucose stomach test at U of M this morning. It took two hours and is meant to see if the positive bacteria outweighs the negative. If it doesn’t, I will try probiotics.
  • I received my new medical ID bracelet in the mail. It’s from Road ID. I love it. It’s sporty, not too clunky, and I think they are really affordable.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had my monthly Dr. Larry appointment on Tuesday. We worked on updating my needed work accommodations for the approaching school year.  He also did his usual magical OMM on my ribs, neck, and head. These appointments are like tune-ups to help me function until the next appointment.
  • I saw my shrink on Monday. Love him. Love gaining perspective with him.

I’ve been on vacation all week in Saugatuck with my family…Playing catch up now!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • No PT since I was away.
  • I did one day of Home Rehab. Then my back decided to flare like crazy and I spent the rest of the week trying to calm it down with Ibuprofen, rest, ice, and my massage pillow.
  • Vacation sleep is amazing sleep. It was the first week all summer I have slept really, really well.
