Two weeks ago I returned to the University of Toledo’s Heart and Vascular Center for my POTS follow-up.  When I had gone for my first appointment, I saw Bev (Dr. Karabin) and got on a specific treatment plan.  Three months later, I followed up with the famous, Dr. Grubb.  This time around, it was my turn to see Bev again. 

1.  Medical Stuff:

• 2 Days of Home Rehab.
• I was supposed to start back at PT again on Thursday, but ended up going to a funeral, so my new start date is now on February 16.
• I had my bi-weekly manipulative appointment.  My doc worked a lot on my stubborn ribs.  I think I am going to start calling her “magic fingers.”

It’s hard to see a loved one hurt.

It’s hard to watch one of your husband’s best friends be laid to rest at the age of 35.

It’s hard to understand why.

But, maybe that is not for us to understand.
