1.  Medical Stuff:

• 3 Days of Home Rehab.
• I had my 6 month follow-up with Bev (Dr. Grubb) for POTS on Monday.
• I had my yearly EDS follow-up with Dr. Lavallee on Thursday.
• My ribs feel like they are going to collapse.  Not cool.  Not cool at all.

After a week of traveling, teaching, appointments, and rehab, this pretty much sums it up for me tonight…

As I think about the post I just published, something is bothering me.  I feel like I need to back up a bit, because I feel like I made “exercising” with POTS and EDS sound like such a simple thing to do.  And if you have POTS and/or EDS, you know that it is definitely NOT easy.

I wish they had bumper stickers that said this.  Because it’s true.  Very, very true.

This is something I never thought I would say.  But that’s life.  It can change on you in an instant.

1.  Medical Stuff:

• 3 Days of Home Rehab.  (I type this every Friday because it holds me accountable each week).
• I had an OMM (Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine) appointment on Thursday.  I love my doctor’s approach: gentle, yet very effective.  She worked inside of my mouth this time to try to get my jaw muscles to calm down.  The only problem at my appointment was that my blood pressure was even lower this time. Not sure how much I should be concerned about this.
• After a brief hiatus, it’s back to physical therapy for this zebra on February 2nd.
• Next week is a big travel week for me: Dr. Grubb and Bev Monday for POTS (Toledo) and Dr. Lavallee on Thursday for EDS (South Bend).  Praying for good weather.
