1. Medical Stuff:

- 2 Days of Home Rehab: Treadmill walking, light weights, balance/proprioception work, and glute & scap floor exercises.

2. It is finally official! Last November, I started investigating how to get our 1023 form done for Life as a Zebra Foundation to become a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. After a lot of work and help, we filed everything with the IRS in July. Then we waited, and waited…and waited. On Monday the letter finally came. Nervous was an understatement when opening it, but when I read the “congratulations,” it was such a relief. I am so, SO happy that we can now move forward as a 501 (c) (3).
3. Since we are talking about GREAT mail coming this week, these also came:
Let the madness begin!
4. Friday was my beautiful friend, Theresa’s last day of teaching at our school. Her husband took a promotion in Cincinnati, so they actually moved there today. I knew I couldn’t say goodbye at school. It was way too emotional for me, so I went over to their house last night to spend some time with Theresa, Matt, & their baby, Adelyn. Talk about EMOTIONAL. Theresa and I have been through so much together. I feel like in life, there are very few people you find that you know would drop anything for you and vice versa…who you know you could trust with anything. Well, Theresa is one of my “people.” I will definitely miss seeing her everyday at school and hanging out, but at least Cinci isn’t TOO far away. Goodbyes just plain stink sometimes.
(I love you with my whole heart, Theresa!)
5. I turned 32 on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who called, texted, gave gifts, messaged, emailed, etc, etc. You all sure know how to make this zebra feel loved! 32 is looking good so far!
