Five For Friday 9/25/15
1. Medical Stuff:
- 1 Day of PT. I am loving when my PT does manipulations on my back and neck with Biofreeze. It’s one of those little touches that helps with management.
- 2 Days of Home Rehab. Treadmill, balance, and floor strengthening.
- No doctors.
2. April 16, 2016! 5th annual benefit concert for Life as a Zebra Foundation. I have begun working on talent…hoping it’s smooth sailing. I’m gonna try out some new ideas this year for negotiating! Wish me luck!
3. Teaching this week:
Child: So you want me to practice these letters?
Me: Yes. Come show me when you are done. I can’t wait to see!
Child: Mama Miaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…You wanna know what that means? That’s Italian for I don’t need to do this work.
Me: That’s funny. I’m Italian and I know that’s not what that means, so come show me your work when you’re done! I told you I can’t wait!
Child: Sigh.
4. My teaching partner surprised me this week with the CUTEST zebra throw pillow. I am constantly in awe at how thoughtful people are.
5. The Pope! I have been loving watching the coverage of his visit to the US this week. He is a man who just exudes love, compassion, and hope. It has been really touching watching him capture the hearts of so many.
