Written by Katie. Posted in Five For Friday

1.  Medical Stuff:
I had two sessions of PT.
Bought special gloves to use to help put on my compression stockings.
A lot of exercises were done at home.
I rescheduled and rescheduled again prolotherapy for Monday.
I had blood work to test my potassium since Florinef can deplete potassium.  My potassium was normal but my glucose was low.

We\’ve Got Tonight

This will either make me cool, or really uncool (I don’t even think that is a word but oh well) depending on who you are but I cannot tell you how giddy I have been all day since I read this morning that Bob announced he will be touring again starting in March.

I grew up listening to Bob.  My Dad has always loved him and he passed that love on to me.  I always remember singing to him as we sat around our camp fires at Lake Leelanau.  When Brad and I talk about our “desert island” albums, Bob Seger’s Greatest Hits is one of two albums that we both agree on in our all time top ten albums.

Today I am thankful for music.  I have always loved all kinds of music.  I have already mentioned how music has played such a role in keeping me sane during this time.  I am thankful how music can change my mood in an instant.  I am thankful how music can inspire me. I am thankful how music can evoke so many emotions.  I am thankful for the songs that seem to be written just for me.  If you walked into my house during the day, you would almost always hear music playing.

I love this quote from Ray Charles:
