Five For Friday 8/23/13

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 4 Days of Home Rehab. Lots of treadmill, and floor work (joint strengthening).
  • I saw Larry on Tuesday for OMM and our monthly office date.  He told me I am going back to good ol’ Physical Therapy in September.  I told him I was managing pretty well on my own, but he reminded me of the shock my body is about to undergo with going back to school.  Knowing he was right, I just smiled and said, “Yes, Larry.”
  • It was a stupid insomnia week.  There’s not much I hate in this world, but not being able to sleep is definitely one of them.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT.  Elliptical, Pilates leg springs, and neck OMM.  I also spent some time on the TRX.  I have a major love-hate relationship going with that thing.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had my 6 month cleaning at the dentist.  No cavities!
  • I battled insomnia most of the week because of POTS, which of course then, meant increased POTS symptoms. Yesterday was better so I’m hoping the cycle has been broken for now.

1.  Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT ~ mostly OMM.  I was struggling. A sign I need to slow down a bit.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • 1 OMM appointment: cranial-sacral therapy.
  • My POTS is definitely not appreciating this heat wave.  It can cool down any time now.

Trying to get this post in before the new week starts! I feel like I have been busier since school has gotten out…Not sure how that happened, but I am trying to fit everything in and still be able to function. Needless to say, I’m making sure I am getting in those non-negotiable naps each day!

1.  Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Leg springs, arm bike, elliptical, floor work.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • 2 Dance Practices. Half of the advanced routine to go and we will be ready to teach! Coaching begins Friday!
