Happy May…which means Happy Ehlers-Danlos and Vasculitis Awareness Months!

1.  Medical Stuff:

• I traveled to Toledo, OH on Monday to see one of my POTS specialists, Dr. Bev.  More about that soon.
• I traveled to Mishawaka, IN on Thursday for prolotherapy injections. More to come on that too.
• 3 Days of Home Rehab.

I just realized that I never updated about my echo results.  After a week and a half of waiting, the report was finally located.  

I spent the day at the University of Toledo to see the wonderful Dr. Bev for my 6 months POTS check-up.

We drove 2 hours.  Waited 2 hours.  Saw Bev for 25 minutes.  And drove home 2 hours.

Usually I see Bev or Dr. Grubb for over an hour,

This past week has been one of the craziest, most exhausting, wonderful weeks I have had in a long time.  I stepped out of my comfort zone a LOT this week.  As I sit here and type

Two weeks ago I returned to the University of Toledo’s Heart and Vascular Center for my POTS follow-up.  When I had gone for my first appointment, I saw Bev (Dr. Karabin) and got on a specific treatment plan.  Three months later, I followed up with the famous, Dr. Grubb.  This time around, it was my turn to see Bev again.
