Christmas. It has always been one of my favorite holidays.  I love everything about it; having that special feeling of peace and hope, spending time with family, Christmas mass, the food, the traditions, the love that is felt all around…

Dear Dad,

I wanted to start my note to you with that quote.  It is one of the biggest things I think of when I think of you.  You have always cheered me on no matter what,

1.  Christmas Eve dinner.  My favorite dinner of the year.

I needed Kleenex for both of these.

Both of them had an impact on me this Christmas Eve morning.

Since school got out on Friday, I have immersed myself into the hustle and bustle of the season.  Shopping, wrapping, doctor’s appointments thrown in, some rehab, some more shopping, necessary naps, Christmas cards, and some more wrapping.  As of 10 PM last night (thanks to my brother’s help) I am officially done, done…and DONE.
