1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. It was a “calm down my ribs” kinda session. Plus elliptical and thoracic exercises.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • 1 OMM appointment for cranial-sacral therapy.
  • My body is still anti-nap. I don’t understand.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of “kinda” PT. I was feeling sick so after my PT worked on me, she sent me home without me doing my exercises.
  • That same night, I ended up in urgent care. They kept me until they were sure I did not have pneumonia. I ended up getting to go home with a prescription to treat bronchitis and a sinus infection.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. I pushed hard when I feeling better since I missed my normal PT work due to being sick.

October! The month I turn another year older! Bring it on : )

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. We discussed how I am doing and decided to try one time per week, while continuing my home rehab program. If I begin to “crash” I will go back to twice a week.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • One of my OMM docs moved and opened her own practice. Monday, I saw her for the first time at her new location. Her gentle hands and cranial manipulation were able to calm down my head and jaw pain. That is worth the farther drive if you ask me.

Five For Friday 9/18/15

I sat down to type and immediately thought to myself, “What DID happen this week?” I’ll tell you what happened. My pre-schoolers started school on Tuesday and joined my kindergarteners. Whew. What a whirlwind…A tired, funny, crazy, messy, beautiful blur…

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. I am continuing to do a lot of cervical strengthening and joint preservation exercises.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. Treadmill and floor strengthening.
  • I saw Larry on Tuesday. He mostly worked on my neck and jaw. Holy pain when he goes into my mouth to release my jaw. But it always works…Larry also renewed my handicap sticker. I always have mixed feelings about this. I don’t like the times when I need to use it (at all), but I am very grateful to have it. It has made life easier and has helped me feel less sick on many occasions.
