1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 day of PT.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • Zero doctors. Two weeks in a row. Whoa.
  • I ended up taking Wednesday off. This was a down to the minute decision but after paying attention to my body’s “red flags” (more blood pooling, lots of fatigue, some throwing up, wacky heart rates and blood pressure) I decided it was best to give myself a rest and recovery day. I’m always a work in progress when it comes to listening to my body. Trying to get better…

End of February, already? How in the world did that happen?!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Tons of scapula fire exercises to help strengthen my upper back and neck.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. High treadmill inclines, floor exercises, balance work, and light stretching.
  • Zero doctors.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I was supposed to have PT on Tuesday but when I showed up, I was told to go home due to having a fever and a sinus infection.
  • I saw Larry on Tuesday before my scheduled therapy appointment. I had been feeling yucky so when the nurse told me I had a fever, I was not surprised. In addition to having the usual cranial and back OMM, Larry also wrote me a prescription to take care of my sinus infection. I am happy to say I am feeling much, MUCH better now.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • All PT was on my own this week.
  • 3 Days of Home Rehab. I hate side planks. Just putting that out there.
  • I had my annual pulmonary function testing done this week. My test results showed all was clear.

February! Whoa!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • This was one of those weeks I felt like I lived at the doctor.
  • 1 Day of PT. Planks, planks, and more planks.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. I upped my treadmill incline this week.
  • I saw my psychiatrist on Tuesday. In 15 years, I can honestly say I have always left his office able to breathe so much better. Tuesday was no different. I told him he is never, ever allowed to retire. We changed my meds a bit, and I will be seeing him bi-weekly for the time being. I am always reminded after those appointments that working on my mental health is just as important as working on my physical health.
