Five For Friday +1…7/8/11

1.  Medical Stuff
  • 1 Day of PT.  Had a re-eval and made a few new goals.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • Had my monthly Larry appointment.  We talked a lot about future goals, while he did some gentle manipulative medicine on my neck.
  • I saw Dr. Rosen.  To be honest there was not much of a theme to this appointment.  Even though I was all over the place, I still think I sorted a few things out in my crazy, jumbled up mind.  It always helps me to be able to really talk things through.

Walk On

Music.  Relationships.

Relationships.  Music.

These are the two things that have gotten me through this past year without going crazy.  These are the two things that I lean on heavily everyday for my survival.  For my sanity.  For my motivation and inspiration.  For my Faith.

I could write for hours and hours about both of these topics, and as I continue to blog, I know that they will keep surfacing as major players in my life.  U2 is something I have been meaning to write about since I saw them in concert at Spartan Stadium a little over a week ago.  It is funny because the first 27 years of my life, I liked U2.  They made up a chunk of my running playlist.  I would watch some of their concerts on Palladia.  I knew and admired that Bono was really involved with various charities.

Last Tuesday marked prolotherapy, round 6.  Since MSU Basketball camps were over, and school was out, Brad was able to take me this time.  We decided to make a “pre-prolo” date out of it.

Brad’s very favorite beer is Fat Tire.  The problem with this is that it is only sold in 20-some states, and Michigan is not one of them.  Since we have various social events and vacation coming up, Brad decided he wanted to stop and load up on Fat Tire since they sell it in Indiana.  So, as we arrived in Mishawaka we found a “beverage” shop and Brad was able to check his mission off our list.
