1. Medical Stuff:

  • I had my 22 week ultrasound on Wednesday! Cervix was good. Baby looked good. He/she was sleeping with its arm above its head (again)…just like how Brad sleeps…
  • 1 Day of PT. 3.5 miles cardio. My ribs keep slipping so we worked a lot on getting them, and hopefully keeping them in!
  • Two days of home rehab.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Back at it. Lots of cardio, strengthening, electrical stim, and OMM.
  • 3 Days of Home Rehab. Hard workouts. Different workouts. I’ve been so sore.
  • I saw Dr. Rosen on Tuesday. Talked about some med switches and the theme was the “grays” in life. Grays are super hard for me.

I feel like I just typed one of these! Please slow down, last bit of summer. PLEASE.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Two days after vacation. I felt EVERY bite of ice cream.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. A lot of treadmill, recumbent bike, and strengthening.
  • I saw Larry on Tuesday for OMM. Back, ribs, neck, jaw. You know the drill.
  • I was back in Indiana on Wednesday for another TMJ therapy appointment. My mouth appliance was adjusted, and I received my sleep study results. NO apnea so I do not have to do any more sleep stuff! Woohoo! It said I had, “very mild snoring at times.” The recommendation? “Patient appears to be obese. Encourage weight loss.” Wellllll, I do want to lose 5 pounds ; ) The next step is an ENT appointment to talk surgery to fix my deviated septum.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of PT. I started a new place for physical therapy…My break from PT is officially over. I am really encouraged by my new therapists and their knowledge of EDS. It sounds like a handful of fellow EDS’rs go there as well. Looking forward to learning more about how to manage this crazy, weird illness called EDS.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab.
  • 6 month dental cleaning. Still no cavities but I had a little more bleeding, which my dentist thinks is due to EDS and the fact that the gums are made of connective tissue.
