1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. So many therapy band walks. So many. My butt burnedddddd.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • Larry was back from China (Worlds for gymnastics) so I saw him in the office on Tuesday. My ribs were grateful. A bunch had subluxed, but I left the office moving so much better.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Lots of cardio, strengthening, and cranial. Revisited the conversation again about how much PT is best for me. I still don’t know if we have an answer. It’s been nearly 4 years, and I’m still learning.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • 1 OMM appointment for cranial, neck, and jaw.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Had a breakdown since my ribs felt like they were on fire. My therapist did tons of gentle OMM, and it helped quite a bit. I left moving and breathing better.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • My gastroparesis is still flaring. Time to cut out certain foods until it calms down.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of HARD PT. Bill likes the tough love when it comes to strengthening. I’m not complaining…
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I saw Larry on Tuesday. We discussed my unintentional weight loss, and that it’s time to call Dr. Grubb and see if it’s a) because of POTS and b) if so, if I need a Beta Blocker med adjustment. Larry also did his usual (magical) OMM on my ribs, upper back and neck.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • I was on my own this week for PT. I actually got to get outside and do some walking for my cardio. I am so ready for this warmer weather…
  • 3 Days of Home Rehab: cardio, balance work, scap and glute fires, leg strengthening, core strengthening, and light weights for arm exercises.
  • I ended up at Urgent Care Sunday night with a skin reaction. Basically my face blew up, so they gave me a shot of Steroids, oral steroids, and an antibiotic. The cause? Who knows, but it is suspected that EDS contributed since I have the type of EDS that affects skin (Type 2/3).
