Five For Friday 10/2/15

October! The month I turn another year older! Bring it on : )

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. We discussed how I am doing and decided to try one time per week, while continuing my home rehab program. If I begin to “crash” I will go back to twice a week.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • One of my OMM docs moved and opened her own practice. Monday, I saw her for the first time at her new location. Her gentle hands and cranial manipulation were able to calm down my head and jaw pain. That is worth the farther drive if you ask me.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of PT. We discussed doing four more weeks of two sessions a week, and then going back to trying just one day a week.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab.
  • I saw my gyno on Tuesday for some lady stuff  irregularities. Blood work and ultrasound checked out fine. Thank you lord.
  • Fatigue! I forgot what’s it like to wake up at 6 everyday, teach, AND rehab. Time to retrain my body. Needless to say, September is one of my toughest months. It is one of the months, I do not commit to anything extra until I can make sure I am doing okay with just teaching and maintaining my health.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had my monthly appointment with Larry. He worked a LOT of my ribs, and also did cranial work. That man has magical hands!
  • I’ve been ordered to rest…Something very difficult for me, but I know it’s necessary. Wish me luck.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 3 Days of Home Rehab. Loving the new treadmill!
  • I saw my shrink on Monday. Right now, I am seeing him every other week. It’s a good thing.
  • I had an eye appointment on Monday. I haven’t seen my eye doctor in a couple of years so I was due. It turns out I really am getting older and my eyes say so : ) I have to wear my reading glasses, “more than reading glasses now but not all of the time,” and my prescription is now a bit stronger. Sigh.
