FOUR WEEKS. FOUR. That is a record! I’d like to say I’ve been slacking, but living in the moment, working hard to be the best Mama, wife, friend, and self I can be, and passing out by 8:30 is more accurate.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • PT. My hip is doing so much better. I think it’s a combo of things; eating clean, exercising, the right manipulative medicine, prolo, and holding Lucia differently. I’m feeling relieved to think that I finally turned a corner.
  • Home Rehab. I’m running again. Not all running but run-walk intervals and it feels pretty darn good. Also, strengthening and more strengthening.
  • A couple of shrink appointments.
  • Dentist appointment. 37 and still no cavities!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Two sessions of PT. Started a few new strengthening exercises for my glutes and hip. We are realizing that if we release (through OMT) my hip flexor area, glute, and tightness down my leg, my hip feels better.
  • Two days of Home Rehab. Interval run/walks. Three rounds of 10 different strengthening exercises. I will find my abs again. I will.
  • Week 3 of the Postpartum challenge. Down 7 pounds.
  • Why I go to Dr. Rosen regularly:

THREE WEEKS?! That is a record. I’m slacking…but that also means I’m living life, soaking every bit of summer, and trying to be present for all of it!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Like 6 PT sessions. 8 Home Rehab sessions. One shrink session. Lots of OMT.
  • Prolotherapy in Indiana. I’m gonna keep attacking the hip until it decides to cooperate. Back again in 6 weeks.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Three PT’s: Elliptical, bike, scap strengthening, core strengthening, heat, stim, OMT, and dry needling. STILL hip pain. Gah. I’m thinking I need to tackle the core more so that’s the goal for the next appointment.
  • Home Rehab: Walks outside at an incline. Weights and squats. Core and scaps. Light Stretching!
