Five For Friday 11/16/18

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Tuesday PT! 30 minutes of cardio, light strengthening, OMM…the usual…I forgot the prenatal cradle but I have it now! Next visit…
  • No other doctors…but I am very happy to report that I am sleeping better. So relieved…
  • I miss sweating. I have not been able to do anything intense since pregnancy…I’m getting excited to be able to sweat again after Baby J arrives.

Five For Friday 10/26/18

1.Medical Stuff:

  • 1 day of PT. My belly was feeling funny so we took it easier on the recumbent bike. I’m going to look into getting a prenatal cradle in the next week just to give my joints more support. Trying to be a proactive EDS’r as this babe gets bigger!
  • Had my glucose test, anemia test, dtap shot, and a heart rate and belly check yesterday with my OB. Things checked out really well. Keep cookin’ baby!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Tuesday PT. It’s getting harder. One foot in front of the other. Had 20 mins of wonderful heat and stim on my neck.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. 3 miles and light strengthening. Hoping I can do this until January…
  • One more Lovenox shot and I am done for the rest of this pregnancy. I always freak out when I go off a med that the baby has been used to since the beginning. Praying.

Five For Friday 3/16/18

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 day of PT. Pretty typical session. Cardio. Strengthening. Circuits. My PT worked my ribs back into place. I ended with heat and stim.
  • 2 Days of Home rehab. Still no treadmill for those following along…they dropped it AGAIN. So, back outside hitting the pavement, a couple of 21 Day Fix workouts, and light weights, and full body strengthening.
  • Every time I get new glasses with a small change in my prescription they make me feel nauseous and carsick. Well, this happened again on Wednesday when I picked up my new reading glasses. I am going to try and wear them in small doses this weekend but my gut says I will most likely be back at their office next week : (

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT with a substitute therapist. He was awesome and brought a different perspective to my management. We worked a lot on proper breathing techniques.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Treadmill. Bike. Scaps. Legs. Biceps.
  • I am sleeping like crap. I hate these sleep strikes, but if I have learned anything, I know they do not last forever.
