1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of Home Rehab.
  • I saw Dr. Klauer at the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Center on Friday in Mishawaka to get my mouth appliance adjusted and loosened.
  • I finished Twistars camp on Thursday so I had Friday to allow my body to die. I barely moved all day, except to change my ice or heat. It was a MUCH needed recovery day.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Elliptical, scap fires, ultrasound, stim, heat, and OMM. The works!
  • No Home Rehab. I’ve been trying my best to rest this rib flare.
  • 1 OMM Appointment. A lot of time was spent trying to get everything back in place. GENTLY.
  • I saw Dr. Cantieri at the last minute on Monday for prolotherapy on my back and ribs. Thank god for that man for getting me in at the last minute, and thank god for my father who drove me back and forth on a whim. After 120ish shots, I’m still pretty sore, but I’m doing my best to rest and listen to doctor’s orders!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had an infusion on Wednesday. I am starting to notice when I need to go. I begin to feel more POTS symptoms, and more fatigue. I am so grateful I am able to get fluids with ease. It really does feel like it helps reset my system.

Five For Friday 9/18/15

I sat down to type and immediately thought to myself, “What DID happen this week?” I’ll tell you what happened. My pre-schoolers started school on Tuesday and joined my kindergarteners. Whew. What a whirlwind…A tired, funny, crazy, messy, beautiful blur…

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. I am continuing to do a lot of cervical strengthening and joint preservation exercises.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. Treadmill and floor strengthening.
  • I saw Larry on Tuesday. He mostly worked on my neck and jaw. Holy pain when he goes into my mouth to release my jaw. But it always works…Larry also renewed my handicap sticker. I always have mixed feelings about this. I don’t like the times when I need to use it (at all), but I am very grateful to have it. It has made life easier and has helped me feel less sick on many occasions.
